Such a cute video of Brooke!
I can’t use the word “super” in this blog post because Rebecca thinks that I have used is excessively, but this is really a cute video of Brooke watching her mobile!

What a great new look!
I’m sure Rebecca was bored out of her mind when we sat together and looked over all of the available themes that we could have for our blog. We found this one and I think it looks pretty great. Searching around paid off and we are happy with the way it looks. We will just have to change the picture to a picture of our family instead of Stone Henge.
Louis Finally Came Down
To all of the fans of my Louis Armstrong painting I am sorry to say that Rebecca has finally made me take it down from hanging above Brooke’s cribs. His happy smiling face will be missed off that wall. I am happy to announce that he has made a new home in the hallway entrance, but I’m unsure of how long that will last until Rebecca makes me take him down from there. I’m just a lone ranger in wanting to keep that painting. I think it is cool that we own some original art by a known painter.
At least I don’t want to hang my Miles Davis poster. That would definitely frighten Brooke.
I’m a family blog now!
Rebecca and talked extensively about doing a blog over a webpage and have come to the conclusion that she wants a blog that you can read from your email account. Her brother signed up with Blogger and had this option available so she wanted the same thing. I explained to her how we can maintain a blog on our own server instead of signing up with another service and we can still have our blog delivered to people’s email application. Well, to make the long story short the outcome of our discussion lead to my pursuit to find the way to deliver my blog into emails. I discovered that Blogger (owned by Google) is using the service of Feedburner (also recently acquired by Google) to have the email. I researched and found a way for Feedburner to provide the emailing while I kept my blog on my own server. So now this will probably be a family blog depending on how much Rebecca writes posts.
The Most Expensive Babysitter Ever!
Looking in the mail the other day, we found we have already gotten a billing for Brooke’s delivery at that hospital. The bill for the nursery alone was a little over $1,000. We chose to keep Brooke in the room with us so she spent maybe two or three hours in the nursery over the entire time we were at the hospital. That’s $500 an hour for someone to babysit our baby! Thank goodness for good insurance!
