Why is it that the fifteen minutes before Dallas comes home from work are the longest fifteen minutes of the day? However, all the waiting is worth it because when Dallas walks through the door I get two treats:

Everyone suggested that we give Brooke a cake for her birthday and let her go town on the cake. Who would have thought that Brooke wouldn’t find that much interest in eating the cupcake we gave her? She has also been a pretty clean eater so that mess we were hoping for didn’t really turn out.
