A Blessing
We’ve been accused of not giving Caroline enough “face time” on our blog. Here’s a post all about her. We blessed Caroline several weeks ago. Here is our new and improved family:
It’s just too bad Brooke has strawberry juice all over her face and dress and that I wasn’t holding Caroline up so you can see her. Oh well.
We did a photo shoot with Caroline after her blessing. We never got a good picture of Brooke in her blessing dress and I didn’t want to make that same mistake again with Caroline .
I think these first two pictures are funny. I smile every time I see them.
Luckily we did get some cute pictures:
P.S. We took Caroline to her two-month appointment and she was as healthy as can be–no sign of a heart murmur. Whew. Her height and weight were in about the 60-70 percentile. Her head was in the 50th percentile.
P.P.S Brooke had her two-year appointment the same day. Her height and weight were in about the 75th percentile. Her head was in the 97th percentile. Big head–just like her Dad.

YES you are SLACKING in posting photos of baby girl #2. I was the second child and my parents did the same thing to me–lots of photos of the first child and very few of the second one. Give equal time!! Give equal time!! The photos are beautiful of Caroline. Please send some to Ben.

Every time I look at that second picture of Caroline I just imagining her saying, “What up?” like a gangsta. And I agree with mom. My parents only focused on the first daughter. I was always neglected. they planned all their trips to be gone on my birthday, but made sure to always be home on February 21st. They gave their first all new clothes and left me with the hand-me-downs. Don’t let the trend start now.

Sarah–They gave their first all new clothes and left you with hand-me-downs?! That made me laugh out loud.
As for everything else–I think they just loved me more.
