Last Sunday after church Brooke and her friends Ava and Emma were playing in our yard. They were so cute that I had to run and get the camera for some pictures. It’s great to have little girls the same age as Brooke in our complex.
Happy Birthday to Alvin. You’re getting older. Just face it man…one day sooner today than yesterday, you will be a dusty set of bones for some future civilization to dig up and wonder about. There is no way to turn around and head back the other direction. Kids who you once resembled will be calling you “old man” and “the geezer”. Anyhow, good luck with that whole getting old thing, I hear it’s in style. As for me I’m going to have my cryogenic chamber between Michael Jackson and Walt Disney.
Rebecca doesn’t exhibit any of the conventional signs of pregnancy but I think there has to be one symptom she shows. This is the craving for chocolate covered strawberries. Over the last little while we have had more chocolate covered strawberries than I have ever had in my entire life.
The next time we are newly pregnant and Rebecca is doubting whether she is pregnant or not, all I will have to do is wave a chocolate covered strawberry beneath her nose and that will give us an answer more definitive than any pregnancy test.
