The Little Problem Solver

The other day Brooke and I were playing with her wooden blocks.  I was balancing a block tower on the top of my head and of course Brooke’s favorite thing to do with the blocks is to knock over the towers I make for her.  Now Brooke isn’t quite tall enough to reach the blocks on the top of my head, so being the problem solver she is, she whacked me on the side of the head to get the blocks to fall.  It worked and Mom thought it was pretty hilarious.  It’s amazing that she understands the cause and effect of things.

I took this picture about eight years ago.  My friend Jason (pictured here) and I hiked up Timpanogos and we took along his dog Smooch.  The dog must have hiked the mountain three or four times over because she ran ahead and came back the entire time.  There is a glacier on the top of the mountain that we slid down.  The snow must have hurt Smooch’s feet because she had a hard time walking on the way down.  We took the gear out of Jason’s bag and put it in my bag then we put Smooch in Jason’s bag.  We took turns carrying Smooch down the mountain.  It was such a funny sight that I had to take a picture of it.  Smooch seemed to enjoy the ride.

You will have to have patience with our blog for the time being because I opted to go with an offering from my webhost and there were some potential problems associated with it until they figure out some of the glitches.  I didn’t think there would be that many problems but it turns out that there are some issues so please keep coming back even if it doesn’t work.  Also, If you are can’t get our blog working, try waiting to see if it will come up with some patience.
