For all you techies out there, here is a link to another blog created by some guys I listen to about photography and another one about the Mac. They are having a contest that the winner can win a Drobo. I could really use one of these things but I probably won’t have a budget for one for a long time so I want to win one. If you haven’t heard of a Drobo check them out here. Very cool.
We found out that we are expecting another girl!
We are committed to making the world a better place–two pigtails at a time.
Rebecca likes the feature on blogs where she can receive emails everytime someone leaves a comment on something she has commented on. Due to the high demand of one, we now offer this feature when you leave a comment. It is on the very bottom of the post page, so if you want to hear what other comments are being made about a specific post, be sure to check this button when you leave a comment.
A quick explanation. The satellites floating (actually in a constant state of falling) above our heads have taken high resolution pictures of nearly the entire planet. Google and other companies (Google being my favorite) have provided the pictures on their map websites. They have also driven down many of the streets with a 360 degree camera capturing the things along the street.
In the pictures below you can see our Mazda parked in our carport and again parked at Rebecca’s parents’ house. These images are from Google Earth. It seems that on the days that Google was doing their virtual capturing we were at the right place at the right time to get our car logged in at two locations. At my mom’s house, the neighbor and his son were taking the garbage out when Google drove by so they are forever seen taking out the garbage. If you haven’t checked this out on Google, definitely take a look because it is very cool. You can download Google Earth or see it online at maps.google.com . Caution! It is very addicting to sit and explore the earth with Google Earth. There are sites where you can download tours that will take you to Africa and show you a herd of elephants or other interesting things like that. On Christmas you can download and watch Santa Claus’s flight path over the course of the night.
How many times are YOU on Google Earth?
