First Day of School
Somehow five years have passed since I had my first baby meaning that baby is now a kindergartner!
We had to get a shot of the backpack:
Caroline has been desperate to be a kindergartner herself and therefore tried to insert her cute face into all the pictures I was taking of Brooke:
I was trying so hard to get a good shot of Brooke but she was making the funniest faces:
Brooke’s faces were causing my mom to laugh uncontrollably:
Finally a cute one:
Looking a little nervous as she had her before-school snack:
Parents were invited for orientation on the first day. Here’s Brooke in her desk:
Here she is on the second day of school lined up against the wall ready to go in:
Brooke seems to like school so far. She especially loves show and tell, choosing things from the treasure box, and playing with her new friend. She’s in a French immersion program, so she occasionally surprises us by saying words or phrases in French. I love it.

Okay–this gave me another belly laugh once again just reliving how hysterically funny posing for Kindergarten pictures really was. I know everyone would have to be there to believe it, but it was so funny I still can’t stop laughing about it. And I can’t believe Spencer just sat all cuddly on my lap while I laughed so loud and so long.
Really–I’m still laughing. I can’t stop.
You did get some cute ones of Brooke. I’ll have to give it to you.
Perhaps my favorite pose was of her backpack when she put her nose smashed up to the wall for you to get a good picture.
I’m still laughing. Honestly–I can’t stop. Glen is shaking his head at me. I can’t help it.
Thanks for another good, and I mean good, laugh!!!!
