Picture of the Week
This week I learned a sweet trick about doing macro photography so I wanted to show you my first pictures with macro. This is extremely close macro. In case you can’t identify the object, these are Brooke’s bubbles container. I love that you can see all of the color dots that make up the perceived color on the label.

I guess I’ll just wait and wait and wait and wait, patiently.

Macro photography is shooting close-up. As you might be able to tell by the photos. In this case I am getting a shot of an area no larger than a 1/8″ across. I will be posting some other pictures I took last night that might better illustrate macro photography since it is of a subject that you would be more familiar with.
I have a picture of macro Brooke which I might post.

Um, so does microphotography consist of shooting things from a great distance?
Come on, why not post mega-brooke? When is her skin going to be more perfect than when she’s this little?

Macro photography isn’t taken from great distances. You are right up the next to the subject. I will be posting the picture of Brooke soon.
