Picture of the Week

I took this picture about eight years ago.  My friend Jason (pictured here) and I hiked up Timpanogos and we took along his dog Smooch.  The dog must have hiked the mountain three or four times over because she ran ahead and came back the entire time.  There is a glacier on the top of the mountain that we slid down.  The snow must have hurt Smooch’s feet because she had a hard time walking on the way down.  We took the gear out of Jason’s bag and put it in my bag then we put Smooch in Jason’s bag.  We took turns carrying Smooch down the mountain.  It was such a funny sight that I had to take a picture of it.  Smooch seemed to enjoy the ride.
