Lagoon
Dallas recently got a job at my Dad’s company–and not a moment too soon! We were able to participate in their work Lagoon day!
Brooke and I started off on the carousel.
When Brooke was scared, she’d ride with her hands over her eyes, like so:
Caroline was happy to sleep the whole time.
Since my parents were also at Lagoon, Dallas and I took advantage of their kindness and let them watch Brooke and Caroline while we did big-people rides. Even though it was a Saturday in the summer, there were hardly any lines. It was a fun day!
I Hate Good-byes!
Our good friends, the Lintons, abandoned us. Last week they moved. We have been in mourning since. We knew this day would come eventually, but that didn’t make the parting any easier. We did our best to pack in a lot of fun with them before they left.
We put the girls in their matching dresses and tried to get a cute picture of them together one last time. Once again, our attempts were foiled by the girls’ inability to all sit still for the same two seconds while we snapped the picture. We thought we would get a good one because Brooke and Emma sat down and were hanging out, but Ava wanted to run, as you can see.
Here’s a good one of Ava giving Brooke a hug:
We had a cookout. Afterwords there was badminton.
And this was the girls’ new favorite game–having the dads drag them all over the lawn on blankets.
