I Hate Good-byes!
Our good friends, the Lintons, abandoned us. Last week they moved. We have been in mourning since. We knew this day would come eventually, but that didn’t make the parting any easier. We did our best to pack in a lot of fun with them before they left.
We put the girls in their matching dresses and tried to get a cute picture of them together one last time. Once again, our attempts were foiled by the girls’ inability to all sit still for the same two seconds while we snapped the picture. We thought we would get a good one because Brooke and Emma sat down and were hanging out, but Ava wanted to run, as you can see.
Here’s a good one of Ava giving Brooke a hug:
We had a cookout. Afterwords there was badminton.
And this was the girls’ new favorite game–having the dads drag them all over the lawn on blankets.

Although it would have been great to get all the girls sitting pretty, those pictures are pretty funny. Aren’t you glad your daughter was cooperating? And I agree–parting with good friends is a real bummer.

Those pictures are hilarious. 🙂 It reminds me of trying to take pictures of my girls. I think I usually take about 60 to get one good one. 🙂 Thank goodness for digital… 🙂
