That lady was so nice! I’m guessing she didn’t have any kids though, or she would have known the real reason you didn’t have money for gumballs that day.

After moving into our new apartment and scrubbing the whole house down for the last week, Jeff and I have begun to wonder if I have a slight case of OCD. I think we get our germ phobia from mom. Dang her for keeping our house so spotless and leaving us cringing at the sight of dirt!

Laughing out loud…because that has happened to us, too. YUCK. And it always seems to happen right after you’ve gotten over something nasty and you’re EXTRA hesitant to get exposed to anything new. 🙁

Sarah, thanks for the compliment on how important cleanliness is to me–and now you!!

Rebecca, your dad would be the first one to fish a quarter out of his pocket and give it to any child hanging around a gumball machine.

Nosy, good for nothing lady! EVERYONE knows the “we have no money” ploy when dealing with begging children. I’m sad it ended the way it did. You guys have had such a rough go of it lately.
