If I were you, I would have led this blog post off with the awesome cake picture and not that pathetic excuse for a pinata…. A newspaper booger?

Brooke looked so happy and that action shot off the table looks kind of dangerous!

Way to be the coolest parents you two.

I’m just barely getting around to commenting on the 3 birthday posts — I’ve been a little busy in Cedar City lately — and have just now been able to enjoy the birthday photos. They are great! What cute pictures of the birthday girl (and the birthday girl’s cute, dimpled little sister).

Rebecca, I’m not sure you quoted my exact words, but at least I ignited a flame under you to be a little bit less lazy with your daughter’s birthday cake. And, I think that if I could make some cute kid cakes without ever having taken a cake-making class, then surely you could come up with something halfway decent in future cake-making endeavors. The cake was awesome!! You did your mother proud!! But the important thing is you made Brooke so happy!! Way to go!!! And Brooke’s loving comment to you was so precious. Thanks for sharing that.
