Okay. That swing set is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. My boys have got to try that out before fall takes a turn for the cold. The pictures of Madison going down the slide were hilarious.

Even with the cute Madison pictures, my favorite picture was of the solitary grass blade in all the dirt. *crying laughing face emoji*

I can just imagine how proud you guys were at the first sign of life out there which prompted the photo shoot of your little seedling blooming forth into a grass blade. I can imagine the hours scouring the lawn wishing for the first sign of non-weedy-greenery to emerge. And then the joy of seeing a sliver of hope and the need to capture that sliver of hope with a portrait-style photo of the seed you raised into a young grassling. I think you should hang that grass portrait on the wall right next to your children. It took a lot of work, caused you many sleepless nights, required your constant care and nourishment and basically became your fifth child that has now emerged as a valuable member of society. Bravo tiny seedling. Bravo.

Yes, Sarah! You get it! Except I’m not sure I’d call our fifth child a valuable member of society quite yet. He needs to multiply and replenish the yard a little better for that to happen. When we get together for our swing set play date you’ll see the patchiness with your own eyes. 🙁
