I was wondering if mom would confess she lost Brooke two times.

That looked like such a fun trip! You sound so reenergized and like you had the time of your life! I’m glad you guys were able to get away for a little getaway.

Also…I am 99% sure Jeff just applied for a job in Green River. I’m second-guessing that decision now.

How funny!!! Matt and I were in Richfield all weekend (with children) for a funeral. And we had a hard time booking hotels, as well, and we even considered going to Green River and the Book Cliffs lodge!! AHHH! But I kept having a feeling that our children would not sleep if we went there. ha ha ha! Sounds like the feeling was right…. 🙂

Whoa, Ann. You’re obviously more inspired than we were! It would have made it all worth it if we had run into each other, though!

Sarah–what job did Jeff apply for? There’s NOTHING in Green River!

This was a great post. I think I’m going to nominate it for Sarah’s Best Read Award.

You are welcome for tending the children so you could have some time alone with your husband. All parents should get away from the kids at least once a year.

So…I guess in about a year you can think of asking me again.

Loved your post. Sounds like it was a great get-away. How did Books Cliff Lodge compare to the Den of Iniquity? (I’m not surprised at all that someone who has hiked Squaw Peak would find a “strenuous” hike to be a romp in the park.)
